The Digital Environment Conference 2026

This one-day conference brings together researchers, technologists, policymakers and industry leaders to explore how data, AI and digital infrastructure are reshaping environmental insight, action and governance. Co-hosted by University Digital Futures and the NERC Digital Solutions Hub, the event marks 75 years since Alan Turing’s “On Computable Numbers”, opening with a keynote from NVIDIA.

Positioned as both a conference and a community, the day will feature a flagship panel debating what responsible, just and visionary digital futures should look like, alongside discussions on how digital systems can support planetary-scale challenges.
