TEDxNHS 2026: 10 Years of HOPE — with Olivia Burns on stage
TEDxNHS returns on Sunday 4 October 2026 at the Royal Institution, London, marking its tenth anniversary with a day of talks exploring the theme of HOPE — not wishful thinking, but active hope: the kind that builds, listens and puts people first.
This year’s lineup includes Olivia Burns — Healthtech Startup Navigator at Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, where she leads the Propel Start Up programme supporting healthtech startups through NHS market entry, scaling and adoption. She’s also founder of Hypoplas, a dignity-led medical textile design company, and was selected for the inaugural NHS Patient Entrepreneur Programme — as one of the first UK survivors of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, she brings a rare patient-plus-system perspective to healthcare innovation.
Alongside innovators, NHS staff and patient advocates, expect a tightly curated programme of ideas worth spreading across health and care — from startup navigation and system adoption to patient-centred design.
