GM Innovation Expo 2026 — Greater Manchester’s flagship innovation showcase lands at Manchester Central, 21 October

GM Innovation Expo 2026

Wednesday 21 October 2026, 09:30–15:30 — Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, M2 3GX. Free to attend.

Hosted by GM Business Growth Hub, the GM Innovation Expo is Greater Manchester’s flagship annual celebration of innovation, collaboration and business growth. It brings together SMEs, start-ups, universities, investors, policymakers and support organisations under one roof — with a particular emphasis on making connections that turn into real opportunities.

For health-tech and digital-health innovators, the draw is practical:

• Live demonstrations across AI, advanced manufacturing, green technologies, life sciences and emerging sectors
• Innovation showcases from some of the region’s most exciting businesses
• Expert speakers and panels on the future of innovation
• Funding and support information from organisations that help businesses innovate and grow
• Structured networking designed to help you meet collaborators, customers and funders

The Hub’s Health Innovation Service has a strong track record here — Oldham diagnostics firm Ascroft Medical recently credited it with helping secure a £17,000 innovation grant and shaping an AI-enabled diagnostic platform that lifted turnover 33%. If you want to understand what regional innovation support actually looks like in practice, this is the room to be in.
