Ralph MacKinnon
Dr Ralph MacKinnon is a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with a PhD in Technology-Enhanced Learning from the Karolinska Institutet. He has led regional and global innovation in simulation-based education, founding the North-West Simulation Education Network and co-founding the INSPIRE network, where he served as the International Chair. He has authored over 50 publications in paediatric trauma, CPR, and simulation, and has held leadership roles in both the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the International Pediatric Simulation Society. He is Director of Resuscitation and Clinical Lead for Paediatric Major Trauma at RMCH, holds an honorary clinical chair with the Manchester Academic Health Science Network, and is a director of Out There Health Tech a digital health initiative improving patient access to high quality innovative solutions.
